Tom Williams believes CEOs and Business Owners are now the major influencers of how our society develops, but knows how tough and lonely it can be at the top, with nowhere safe to seek advice from.
Tom leverages his experience to assist CEOs to improve their financial performance and find their way in the increasingly complex professional world. As an innovation consultant and business coach, Tom’s focused on assisting CEOs and Business Owners to develop a roadmap for high growth in a world of accelerating disruption to traditional business models.
Tom began his career as a scientist before undertaking a broad executive career with experience in big pharma, biotech, funds management and creative marketing. Since then, he’s founded and co-founded five Startups, selling an investment management company to a global bank and taking a biotech as CEO to an IPO on the ASX.
A pioneer in developing entrepreneurship training for scientists and engineers, Tom consults with companies to develop individual innovations and to install innovation-generating systems for sustainable market growth. His other career highlights include:
- Launched new products for General Motors, Ford, Yamaha, Dunlop and Kodak.
- Developed significant innovations for major corporations including GSK, Qantas and HSBC.
- Currently lectures at Monash University, and the University of Melbourne on the commercialisation of technology, business planning, entrepreneurship and leadership.
