Richard Palmer is a corporate finance and private equity professional, with 25 years’ in-house and external advisory experience in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Over this time, he has been an Investor, Director, CEO, and business owner and is passionate about driving personal and business growth with the businesses he has worked with.
Richard has been part of 3 private equity management teams’ that have managed $AUD500m of FuM, has had a range of senior corporate roles in the finance and telecommunication sectors, has served as the Independent Chair and Non-Executive Director of 10 private companies over the last 12 years and has also held a range of voluntary Advisory Board positions over this time.
Richard has a Bachelor of Laws (Victoria University) and Master of Business Administration (Hons) from Bristol University.
Today he splits his time between Redwood North, an investment firm that manages both private equity and real estate portfolios and TEC. In both capacities he specialise in coaching, mentoring and working with CEOs and business owners to identify growth opportunities, deal with personal and business challenges of change and rapid growth, prepare companies for successful exits and assisting them to achieve their goals through the effective execution of strategy and practising the art of ‘getting things done’.
