Manufacturing is the most promising capability to transform Australia from a lucky country to a smart country, says Jens.

He advocates that industry needs to take charge and be more responsible for transforming the economy for the better and our education system also has an important role to play in this.

Jens is passionate that a country’s ability to make complex things is its’ most important capability. Australia needs to add complexity to our commodities and value-add on shore – Creating more jobs and significantly impacting our GDP
