TEC Chair: Chief Executive Program

I’m an experienced business coach and mentor and an award winning accountant with over 20 years of real world experience.

I love working with women in business to empower them with the knowledge of their numbers. I present the Acceler8 Program to women in Brisbane and provide online financial literacy courses to women all over Australia, to both inspire and ensure accountability in order to challenge women to achieve their goals.

I’m Managing Director of Consolid8, which is an innovative accounting practice based in Brisbane, servicing clients throughout Australia. The Consolid8 team is focused on providing ‘real world’ advice and using their experience to help their clients achieve financial success.

At the heart of it, I’m a CPA with 20 years experience in working with SME clients in areas such as strategic planning and management accounting. I’ve built my own business, Consolid8, from a small client base with 1 staff member in 2008 to business that has achieved over 500% growth and 25 staff, as well as incorporating an on-site child care for staff and clients.

With a focus on innovation and technology, Consolid8 is a strong advocate for cloud based technology, winning Xero Accounting Partner of the Year in 2016. I was also honoured to be recognised as Queensland finalist in 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards in the Entrepreneur Category.

As an active member of CPA Australia, I love to give back to the organisation that has provided me with the ability to build an outstanding business. I’m a regular speaker at CPA events and enjoy mentoring young accountants and public practitioners as they embark on their journey into public practice.

My desire to challenge myself while developing Consolid8 led me to TEC.  Initially as a member I found I was able to be influenced by people from business outside the accounting industry. Importantly, the group wasn’t just there to congratulate me on what went well but rather existed to question and challenge  – and each other – for the purposes of improving the business and my role within it.
