I have over 25 years chief executive and other senior executive experience in corporate and line management roles in a number of industry sectors both within Australia and overseas.
I’ve served as Director of Operations of David Jones for 6 years and Managing Director of W R Carpenter’s diversified operations in the South Pacific for 5 years where I had responsibility for sixteen businesses in three countries having total annual sales of $130 million and 2,500 employees.
I spent two years in New Zealand managing a $185 million retail business selling furniture, appliances and floor coverings in 62 stores throughout the country. This was followed by 3 years as Chief Executive of Amcal, Australia’s largest pharmacy marketing group with 670 member pharmacies having combined sales in excess of $750 million.
My early career was in Canada as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and then Financial Controller with 3M. I’ve also has experience in the small business environment.
I bring this broad commercial background and a supportive style of leadership to my present roles of business coach, mentor and facilitator to my members.
