David Blyth is an advisor/consultant/facilitator to Boards, executives and senior leaders on business and organisational strategies. David offers a unique blend of deep expertise and experience that enables and supports leaders to meet the challenges of today’s complex business environment. David has facilitated more than 100 Board, executive and senior leadership workshops. His clients have included global professional service and mining organisations, mid-scale engineering and technology firms, and an array of SME’s including research and community organisations.
David came into consulting off a track record as a successful CEO. As a CEO he had strong commercial success: bid, won, negotiated and delivered multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts. He transformed the organisation from struggling to the most successful player in the sector. He later designed and launched an Executive MBA program at Curtin’s Graduate School of Business.
David has a DBA (professional doctorate) specialising in transformational leadership. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Board member and Deputy Chair at ChemCentreWA. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at UWA’s Business School, where he teaches the MBA capstone unit on business strategy.
David is an occasional writer on strategy, organisational design and leadership.
