I’m proud to share that two members recently had a positive and frictionless succession, transitioning from active CEO roles to one of ownership and governance. Both one to one mentoring and TEC group support were vital in these outcomes.

In Chad’s opinion leadership means having vision, persuasive communication skills, and building execution capability which leads to reliable succession. Most business leaders want to have fun, create wealth and take pride in building a successful organisation.
As a former senior partner in a professional services firm, responsible for large teams of highly qualified and capable professionals, Chad has developed a wide range of practical experience and skills, coaching and mentoring individuals and leaders to realise and reach their true potential.
Chad has had a remarkable journey; for 30 years, Chad forged a career as a Chartered Accountant and professional advisor, taking on major leadership roles at Deloitte, before starting his own consulting business shaping companies for growth. His roles have included Managing Partner for Deloitte’s tax consulting practice in New Zealand and in Asia Pacific, Senior Partner responsible for business solutions, information management solutions, and Managing Partner for a precursor to Deloitte Private.
Following on, Chad was co-founder of management consultant Ignition Partner Limited advising companies on strategies for growth from innovation, has been a member of several advisory boards and held directorship roles with technology companies, is a Judge for the Westpac Business Awards, is Advisory Board Chair for large IT reseller PB Technologies, and is Trustee and Chair of Matuku Link, a wetland restoration project at Bethell’s Beach on Auckland’s west coast.
